Falconets FC has been crowned champions of the 2024/2025 LFA Womenโs Lower League Playoff, following a dramatic final against Small Town FC.
The tightly contested match ended in a goalless 0โ0 draw after regular time, pushing both teams into a tense penalty shootout at the Tusa Field Sports Pitch in Gardnersville Township on Tuesday, July 29, 2025.
Falconets FC held their nerve in the shootout, with attackers Patience Carr and Beckie Tuan, along with midfielder Abegail Flomo, all converting their spot-kicks.
The shootout concluded 3โ1 in favor of Falconets FC, sealing their championship victory.
Both Falconets FC and Small Town have secured promotion to the LFA Upper Womenโs Division, but it was the Falconets who emerged as playoff champions after an inspiring campaign.
