Falconet FC have been crowned 2024/2025 LFA Lower Women's League

Falconets FC has been crowned champions of the 2024/2025 LFA Womenโ€™s Lower League Playoff, following a dramatic final against Small Town FC.

The tightly contested match ended in a goalless 0โ€“0 draw after regular time, pushing both teams into a tense penalty shootout at the Tusa Field Sports Pitch in Gardnersville Township on Tuesday, July 29, 2025.

Falconets FC held their nerve in the shootout, with attackers Patience Carr and Beckie Tuan, along with midfielder Abegail Flomo, all converting their spot-kicks.

The shootout concluded 3โ€“1 in favor of Falconets FC, sealing their championship victory.

Both Falconets FC and Small Town have secured promotion to the LFA Upper Womenโ€™s Division, but it was the Falconets who emerged as playoff champions after an inspiring campaign.

Their crowning moment was marked by a vibrant ceremony that honored their determination, teamwork, and rise in Liberian womenโ€™s football.
