Liberian senior female professional football club midfielder Bendu Yantay recently presented an award to her club president, Mr. Emmett Glassco.
Yantay, who emerged as a key figure for Liberia in the recently concluded WAFU Tournament in Mauritania, was instrumental in the national teamโs impressive third-place finish.
Yantay exceptional performance at the tournament included being named Woman of the Match in Liberiaโs 1-1 draw against Mali, a game in which she scored a stunning 35-yard free kick.
During the award presentation, Yantay expressed her sincere gratitude to Mr. Glassco, acknowledging his significant influence on her football career.
