Speaking on Tuesday, July 15, during a Determine Girls training session at the Samuel Kanyon Doe (SKD) Sports Complex in Paynesville ahead of the WAFU Zone-A Womenโs Champions League Qualifiers in Senegal, Determine Girls CEO Anthony Cassell Kuoh stated the club is building its team in the Liberian League because it wants to participate in the highest competition in Africa.
Mr. Kuoh explained that the club is focused on improving the Liberia Women’s Football Division.
He added that bringing in new players is crucial for taking women’s football to the next level and fostering competition within the squad.
“We participated last year, and we identified some lapses that we are now working hard to correct.โ
Mr. Kuoh further said Determine Girls has revamped its technical and coaching staff, including the appointment of experienced coach Robert Lartey.

The Determine Girls CEO further, โWe have upgraded our technical staff; we believe Coach Robert Lartey has what it takes to deliver. I can tell you for free โ we are going to win the WAFU Zone-A competition.
“As Iโve said before, our performance last year showed us that upgrading our technical team was necessary. Bringing in Coach Lartey is one of the major steps we’ve taken to fix that.โ
He concluded “I want to build a Fassell that can not only participate in the CAF competition but win it. I donโt just want to play in the tournament; I want to bring that trophy home to Liberia.โ
