Monrovia – The executive committee members’ decision comes following its April 30, 2025 executive committee meeting.
According to a statement from the party executive members, their decision is based on the continuous decline of the party and refusal of Reginald Goodridge to take the party to a national convention which is required after every six years.

The statement is signed by 20 party executives including Party’s Standard Bearer Mr. Eric Olison, nine county chairpersons, national chairlady and Youth Chair Hawa Johnson and Dukuly Mambu.
Others are Adolphus Capehart, Mrs. Said Seton Sackor, Varney Sando, Richard Bracewell, Ezekiel Berge, Emmanuel Gono, Moses P. Bombo and Moses S. Mulbah.

Meanwhile, the Party Executive Committee is expected to appoint its acting chairperson who will lead the party to the upcoming convention.
The Party Executive Committee is at the same time requesting the National Elections Commission’s presence at its upcoming national convention scheduled for October 30, 2025.
