
The Liberia Football Association (LFA) has taken another major step in strengthening football development nationwide, thanks to FIFA’s continued support and commitment to making the sport truly global.

Fresh off the CAF Coach Educators Workshop, the LFA on Monday, December 1, officially opened the FIFA Elite Youth Goalkeeper Coaches’ Workshop at its headquarters in central Monrovia.

A total of 22 goalkeeper coaches are taking part in the intensive five-day training, running from December 1–5. The course is being delivered by FIFA instructors Alejandro Heredia and Cameron Cox. This workshop forms part of FIFA’s specialized global training programs designed to enhance the capacity of youth goalkeeper coaches. It focuses on modern coaching methodologies, technical and tactical advancement, and the evolving demands of the modern goalkeeper.
