Defending champions Dolakeh Football Club made a bold statement at the start of 2026 with an emphatic 6–0 victory over Nimba Girls FC on Saturday, January 3, during Match Day 4 of the LFA Nimba Lower Women League at the Gompa Sports Pitch.

The girls from Gompa City thrilled home supporters with a dominant and entertaining display, underlining their title credentials with pace, precision, and confidence across all departments of the pitch.

Spectators were treated to a goal feast as Dolakeh FC controlled the game from start to finish against their visitors from Sanniquellie City.

Star forwards Joyce Martor and Yassah Gwaikolo stole the spotlight, each recording a stunning hat trick to complete a double hat-trick performance that sealed a comfortable win for the champions. Their clinical finishing and teamwork proved too much for Nimba Girls FC to contain.

With momentum firmly on their side, Dolakeh FC will now turn attention to Match Day 5 of the Nimba Lower Women League, set for next weekend in Karplay City near the Ivorian border, as the race for league honors continues.
