
Nimba County are the champions of the 2025/2026 National County Sports Meet after a convincing 2–0 victory over Grand Kru County in the grand final.
The determined Nimba side delivered a disciplined and confident performance, controlling the tempo of the match from start to finish. Their dominance paid off as striker Mohammed Keita and winger Prince Lynch found the back of the net, sealing victory and igniting celebrations among their supporters.

With this triumph, Nimba County have now lifted the National County Sports Meet title a record seven (7) times, further cementing their status as one of the most successful counties in the history of the competition.
Grand Kru County fought bravely but were unable to penetrate Nimba’s well-organized defense, as the champions showcased experience, composure, and tactical discipline on the biggest stage.

At the sound of the final whistle, Nimba County players, officials, and fans erupted in celebration, marking yet another historic achievement and adding a seventh championship trophy to their proud legacy.
