NAIROBI, Kenya — Liberian-American faith leader and humanitarian Minister Mercy Hinneh is spearheading an ambitious international outreach initiative as the God’s Blueprint Foundation expands its humanitarian operations across Africa, with plans to extend its mission into West Africa, including Liberia.

Minister Hinneh, an ordained minister who has spent years in Christian ministry and humanitarian service, says her work is deeply rooted in faith and a commitment to helping vulnerable children and underserved communities.

The foundation, established in 2025 in partnership with God’s Blueprint Ministry in the United States, is a non-profit organization focused on supporting orphans, disadvantaged children, and struggling communities through humanitarian aid and spiritual outreach.

Since its establishment, the organization has rapidly expanded its activities across several African countries, positioning itself as a growing faith-based charity committed to improving lives through practical assistance, mentorship, and community engagement.

“A Divine Calling”

Speaking during the organization’s outreach activities in Nairobi, Minister Hinneh explained that the foundation emerged from what she described as a spiritual calling to expand her ministry beyond traditional church work.

“I started the ministry, and things were going well, but I kept receiving visions from the Lord urging me to do more,” she said. “As an ordained woman of God, I chose to obey. That led to the establishment of this foundation alongside my partners so we can reach more people in need.”

Under her leadership, the organization has reportedly conducted outreach missions in more than 10 African countries, primarily in East Africa, combining humanitarian assistance with evangelism and youth empowerment initiatives.

The foundation is now preparing to expand into three additional African countries before shifting greater focus toward West Africa.

Liberia is expected to be among the key beneficiaries of the organization’s next phase of humanitarian outreach.

Supporting Orphans and Vulnerable Communities

Minister Hinneh and her team have been actively engaging orphanages, schools, rehabilitation centers, and vulnerable communities throughout Kenya.

During recent outreach missions in Nairobi and surrounding areas, the delegation visited several institutions, including:

  • Dream Home Children’s Home
  • Good Samaritan Home and Rehabilitation Center
  • Smile Community Center Children’s Home
  • Shanzu Good Hope Children’s Center
  • Calvary Zion Children’s Home
  • Project of Hope Orphanage School
  • Gachie High School

At Gachie High School, Minister Hinneh delivered motivational remarks encouraging students to remain focused, disciplined, and hopeful despite life’s challenges.

Observers described the engagements as emotionally impactful, particularly for children and young people who received both material support and words of encouragement.

Beyond Material Assistance

According to Minister Hinneh, the foundation’s mission extends beyond humanitarian relief alone.

She explained that the organization is equally committed to spiritual development and emotional support, with outreach activities targeting prisons, hospitals, nightclubs, underserved communities, and vulnerable populations both in the United States and internationally.

“We are a global organization because every child matters,” she stated. “Our mission is to provide food, clean water, shelter, healthcare, and education to orphans through donations and sponsorships.”

The initiative is reportedly supported through a combination of private donations and assistance from supporters in the United States. However, Hinneh noted that expanding humanitarian operations across multiple countries requires additional partnerships and sponsorship support.

Describing herself as “a mother to the motherless,” she appealed for increased collaboration from individuals, churches, organizations, and development partners committed to improving the lives of vulnerable children.

Liberia Outreach Expected

As God’s Blueprint Foundation prepares for its anticipated expansion into West Africa, expectations are growing around its planned activities in Liberia.

Supporters say the initiative could bring renewed attention to the plight of disadvantaged children and underserved communities, while also strengthening humanitarian and faith-based support networks across the country.

For many observers, the foundation’s growing presence reflects the increasing role faith-based organizations continue to play in addressing social and humanitarian challenges across Africa.
