MONROVIA – Mr. Mamudu Saah Dabor, also known as Baba 2Sweet, has apologized to various officials, including the Mayor of Paynesville, the Ministry of Public Works, and the Inspector General of the Liberia National Police, Col. Gregory Coleman.
His apology relates to a demolition exercise conducted in December 2024 on a project he is constructing at the Duport Road Junction intersection, which was apparently done by the Ministry of Public Works, the Paynesville City Corporation (PCC) and Monrovia City Corporation (MCC) and other relevant agencies.

While specifics regarding the reasons for the apology were not provided, it suggests there may have been an issue related to the demolition, possibly concerning the legality or communication around the project.
The incident underscores the complexities that often arise in infrastructure development, particularly concerning regulatory compliance and stakeholder engagement in Liberia.
Mr. Dabor said he was misinformed by people he trusted that is what made him to go to the press. He added: “I regret my actions for whatsoever things I have said against those statesmen.”
Dabor, who is a young business tycoon, has aspired many to step forward and become catalysts for change, reinforcing the idea that the future of Liberia lies in the hands of its youth.
