Mauritania – Liberia began their 2025 WAFU Zone A Senior Women’s Championship campaign with a decisive 3-1 victory over Guinea Bissau, overcoming an early deficit.
The match saw Guinea Bissau take the lead, but Liberia rallied with goals from: Jessica Quachie (43′), Mimi Eiden (64′, 89′) – scoring a brace to seal the win.
