MONROVIA, Liberia — Social media commentator and self-styled prophet Justin Oldpa Yeazehn, popularly known as Prophet Key, is expected to complete his six-month prison sentence on Thursday, August 13, 2026, as attention turns to whether he has satisfied all conditions imposed by the Supreme Court of Liberia following his criminal contempt conviction.
Prophet Key was convicted by the Supreme Court’s Full Bench on February 13, 2026, and sentenced to six months in prison following proceedings arising from statements he made concerning members of the Judiciary.
In addition to the custodial sentence, the Court reportedly directed him to publish an apology in three Liberian newspapers for five consecutive days and to sign a bond committing him to refrain from repeating the conduct that led to his conviction.
Apology Issued
Prophet Key has since issued a written apology addressed to Chief Justice Yamie Quiqui Gbeisay and members of the Supreme Court.
He also apologized for remarks he made concerning Liberian women.
