MOVEE says it fundamentally recognizes the former President and his Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) Administration for the vision and laying the foundation for Liberia’s bid for a non-permanent seat on the United Nations Security Council through his foreign policy objectives, which prioritized multilateralism, bilateralism, international cooperation, economic and development diplomacy and national and global peace and security.

The party also extends special recognition to its Political Leader and Standard Bearer, Ambassador Dee-Maxwell Saah Kemayah, Sr., whose tenure as Minister of Foreign Affairs and Dean of the Cabinet during the Weah-led regime, saw vigorous diplomatic lobbying and coordination necessary which presented Liberia as an endorsed and credible candidate of ECOWAS and the African Union, pursuant to the vision and directive of former President Weah.

Foreign Minister Sarah Beysolow Nyanti also played a crucial role by skillfully following in the exemplary diplomatic footsteps of her predecessor, H.E. Ambassador Kemayah and continued championing the vision to the finished line. We appreciate her diplomatic honesty in crediting the CDC Government for key-starting Liberia’s successful journey for a non-permanent seat on the United Nations Security Council.”

“Liberia’s assumption of this key role in global peace and security is worthy of celebration, unity, perseverance, and the unwavering belief in a brighter future for our beloved nation.”
