Wish Muslims Eid Mubarak
Meanwhile, the former Speaker has written from the Police Headquarters wishing “Eid Mubarak” to all his Muslim brothers and sisters.
“As we gather in prayer and reflect on this sacred day of Eid, we are reminded of the values of truth, justice, and sacrifice — the very pillars of our faith and humanity.
“Today, however, it is a religious celebration and a critical test of our democracy in Liberia.
“We are witnessing a time where men are accused without evidence, where justice is being weaponized, and where the Liberian National Police appears to have abandoned neutrality in favor of partisanship. Instead, the institutions meant to uphold justice have thwarted the rule of law, threatening the very foundation of our democratic order.

“Let us be clear: democracy cannot survive where due process is ignored, where political witch hunts replace legal standards, and where silence is demanded in the face of injustice.
As you raise your hands in prayer today and ask for personal blessings, may you also ask for courage, clarity, and justice for our nation.
May Allah accept all your prayers, protect the innocent, and guide Liberia to accountability, peace, and proper democratic governance.
