
MONROVIA โ The Liberian Senate today approved three significant bills originating from Grand Bassa County Senator and President Pro Tempore, Nyonblee Karnga-Lawrence, a move poised to expand administrative reach and create new employment opportunities in the county.
In a unanimous vote, the Senate passed the legislations elevating the Townships of Pay-U-way, Owensgroove, and Gianda to full-fledged Administrative Districts. This reclassification is expected to decentralize governance and bring essential services closer to the residents of these areas.
