Paynesville, Liberia โ The Youth Focal Person in the Office of the Mayor of Paynesville is currently attending a training in Public Administration and Governance in Beijing, China.
Lawrence Dayougar is attending the event on the recommendation of the Mayor of Paynesville, Robert S. Bestman II.
The training is organized by the Academy for International Business with sponsorship from the Chinese Embassy in Liberia.
The month-long event focuses on training and developing young Africans in all sectors, improving Africaโs manpower, and highlighting the role youth can play in the development of their respective countries.
During the training, the participants will build professional networks and receive recommendations on how China has rapidly developed over the last seventy years.
Meanwhile, aside from the classroom, other activities include sightseeing at the Great Wall of China and attending an executive international business conference.
