Republic FC are the 2024/2025 LFA Lower Women’s League champions after a commanding 2-0 victory over Small Town FC at TUSA Field on Sunday.
Goals from Fatu Seafay and Gabrielle Sabina Lines sealed the win for Republic FC, who needed all three points to stay ahead of title contenders LEAD Monrovia Academy.
They finished the season with 41 points, edging out LEAD Monrovia Academy by a single point (40) in a thrilling conclusion to a fiercely contested campaign.
A Season of Grit and Growth
Throughout the season, Republic FC showcased consistency, resilience, and attacking flair. Their impressive record speaks volumes:
18 matches played
13 wins
2 draws
3 losses
17 goals conceded
After a shaky start in the first phase with two losses, the team regrouped and came back stronger. The second half of the season saw them win eight matches and concede just five goals — a testament to their rock-solid defense and clinical attack.

Victory Sealed in Style
Sunday’s final match was a fitting finale to an outstanding season. Republic FC dominated the field from start to finish. Seafay’s early goal set the tone, and Sabina Lines’ strike doubled the lead — easing nerves and sealing the crown.
But this win was about more than just the result. It was a showcase of the team’s hunger, discipline, and belief qualities that carried them through a tough season.
Looking Ahead
With the league title secured, Republic FC now sets its sights on bigger ambitions. This championship is more than just a trophy; it’s a stepping stone to greater achievements in Liberian women’s football. Congratulations to the 2024/2025 LFA Lower Women’s League Champions Republic FC.
