
District 14 team has received a significant morale and financial boost thanks to the generous contributions of some of its most dedicated and proud citizens.
Mr. Peko R. Vaye, popularly known as Robinho, a native of Ma Mary’s Yard in Doe Community, made a substantial donation of $50,000 Liberian Dollars (US$500.00).
His generous support highlights his strong commitment to community development and youth empowerment.
Robinho’s act of giving back has inspired many and reaffirmed the importance of unity and progress in District 14.
Mr. Mohammed Foday, another distinguished son of District 14 and a former officer of the Liberia National Police, where he served as HR of Zone 10 also extended his support. Now residing in the United States.
Mr. Foday contributed $40,000 Liberian Dollars to the team.
His continued dedication to his roots, even from abroad, stands as a powerful testament to his unwavering loyalty to the district.
Adding to the wave of support, Mr. Teddy Kumeh, affectionately known as Carlos and a former captain of the Doe Community All-Stars, made a meaningful contribution from his current base in China.
Carlos donated $5,000 Liberian Dollars as an initial gesture to support the team’s activities and future development. His donation was met with great appreciation, highlighting that every contribution matters in the collective push for community progress.
Community members and team officials have expressed heartfelt gratitude to all three donors. Their selfless support is expected to uplift the team’s spirit and inspire greater community participation in local sports initiatives.
