MONROVIA – In a bold response to the ‘Enough is Enough’ STAND protesters, President Joseph Boakai addressed the crowd gathered at the EJS Ministerial Complex in Congo Town.

The protesters, holding placards with slogans such as “Boakai can’t lie,” expressed their dissatisfaction with the current state of governance. He made the comment during the launch of the Liberia AI Challenge 2025. That was an amusement to those in the hall.

President Boakai acknowledged the presence of the protesters but emphasized his commitment to moving the country forward. “I see protesters on their placards saying, ‘Boakai can’t lie’. But let me tell them that they can lie, and we are moving this country forward,” he declared, reinforcing his stance on the need for progress and unity in Liberia.
