Reverend Attah lamented the dreadful impacts of drugs abuse on the Liberian society by saying “Our children are falling off the path of progress and headed to the ditches of destruction due to their involvement with drugs abuse.”
He added: “Our struggles with drugs and substance abuse are well documented.” Reverend Attah noted that now more than ever before is the time for all and sundry to join the fight against drugs and substance abuse.
He furhter stated that his institution’s support to the campaign is being done with the mobilization of support from the board of trustees, the students, faculty and staff and also the alumni association.
“We are lending a full scale support to these efforts,” the AMEU President emphasized.
“These efforts are anchored in the conviction that together we can make our society safe and secured for ourselves, our children and our children’s children by sending out a strong message that drugs abuse has no place in our society,” Reverend Attah added.
