Competitions and Club Licensing Manager Joel Freeman

The Liberia Football Association (LFA) has intensified efforts to fully implement the FIFA Club Licensing Regulations, with Competitions and Club Licensing Manager Joel Freeman emphasizing that the framework rests on five key pillars: Sporting, Infrastructure, Personnel and Administrative, Legal, and Financial.

“These requirements ensure that our clubs operate transparently and sustainably and that they’re equipped to compete regionally and internationally,” Freeman explained.

He urged clubs across the First and Second Divisions, as well as the Women’s Upper and Lower Leagues, to embrace the regulations as an opportunity to strengthen their institutional capacity.

“Documents submitted must be authentic,” Freeman cautioned. “We will conduct rigorous verification to ensure compliance.”

As the seminar progresses, participating clubs are expected to receive detailed guidance on application procedures, documentation requirements, and timelines to streamline the licensing process.
