Rover Ladies FC has appointed Winnie B. Dorbah as the club’s new head coach.
A former Blanco FC midfielder and current Rover Ladies coach, Dorbah previously served as Deputy Coach during the 2024/2025 league season.
She led the team in the LFA Nimba Lower Women’s League playoffs, where, despite missing out on promotion to the LFA Upper Women’s Division, the team showcased one of its most composed and strategic performances under her leadership.
Her tactical insight and ability to inspire players earned her the trust of the club’s management and ultimately the head coach position.
Coach Dorbah expressed her excitement and gratitude for the new role, saying:
“I am very excited for this new role, and I want to thank President Rochell Woodson for believing in me. I accept this new journey and pray to do my best. A very big thanks to everyone who continues to support me, especially my players and colleagues. This journey has just begun, and because of you I was awarded this new chapter. Let us take it as a team and work together.”
The official announcement was made on Monday, August 25, 2025, during Rover Ladies FC’s awards ceremony honoring players at Wood Camp, Parker Paint, Paynesville, Liberia.
