From Resilience to Ambition
Reflecting on last season, Jarbo praised the team’s resilience, pointing to their sixth-place league finish and an Orange Cup final appearance, which secured a spot in the upcoming Super Cup on October 5 in Nimba.
“These milestones, coupled with the arrival of our twelve new signings, show that World Girls FC is ready to compete at the highest level and challenge for the league title,” Jarbo said.
Beyond Football: A Mission to Empower
Jarbo emphasized that World Girls’ ambitions stretch beyond trophies. She announced the launch of a mentorship program focused on mental health, physical well-being, and life-skills development.

“Every player who passes through World Girls FC will sharpen her abilities on the pitch and gain essential values that empower her off it. We are in the business of empowering girls and building women leaders for the future,” she stressed.

Closing the event, Jarbo rallied supporters:
“To our loyal fans, your energy is our fuel. With your continued support, nothing will be beyond our reach. These twelve remarkable players represent the future of World Girls FC. Together we will push boundaries, set new standards, and prove that women’s football in Liberia is truly unstoppable.”
