
Sierra Leone’s U-17 girls’ national team stamped their authority on West African football on September 27, 2025, capturing the maiden WAFU-A U-17 Girls Tournament title and sweeping key individual honors at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Complex.
The young Lionesses were a class apart, showing consistency and dominance throughout the competition. They played four matches, winning three and drawing one, to finish at the top of the group with 10 points.
