Montserrado County Senator, Hon. Saah H. Joseph, has officially appointed Coach Famatta Dean as Head Coach of the Montserrado County team ahead of the 2025–2026 National County Sports Meet.
Coach Dean, who currently serves as Head Coach of Liberia’s Female U-20 National Team, makes history as the first woman to lead a county team in the history of the National County Sports Meet.
According to Senator Joseph, Coach Dean and her technical team will be fully sponsored personally by him, outside of the county’s budget.
She has also been given the freedom to assemble a trusted backroom staff to guide Montserrado to success in the upcoming tournament.
