MONROVIA – The Movement for Progressive Change (MPC) has announced key interim appointments as part of its preparations for the party’s National Convention scheduled for May 2026.
Mr. Sam S. Passewe has been appointed Acting Secretary General, while Mr. Michael Lawrence will serve as Acting Youth Chair until the convention.
According to an MPC Executive Committee statement, the appointments form part of broader restructuring and rebranding efforts aimed at strengthening the party’s national presence. Additional appointments are expected in the coming days.
Meanwhile, renovation work on the party’s national headquarters in Sinkor, Airfield is nearing completion as the MPC gears up to assert itself as a “credible and solutions-driven opposition” in Liberia’s evolving political landscape.
