Liberia Football Association (LFA) Acting Women’s Football Manager, Aletha Massaquoi

The Acting Women’s Football Manager of the Liberia Football Association (LFA), Aletha Massaquoi, has arrived back in Liberia following her successful participation in the FIFA Women’s Football Regional Workshop, held in Rabat, Morocco, from November 6–8, 2025.

Massaquoi was part of a strong Liberian delegation that included former Liberian President George Weah and other prominent football stakeholders. Their presence at the high-level workshop highlights Liberia’s deepening commitment to elevating women’s football and fostering development opportunities across the continent.

The workshop brought together experts and leaders from across Africa to discuss strategies, development pathways, and innovations aimed at accelerating the growth of the women’s game. Massaquoi’s involvement marks another important step forward for the LFA’s vision to strengthen structures, empower women in football, and improve competitive standards nationwide.

Her return is expected to further boost ongoing LFA programs as Liberia continues to build momentum in women’s football development.
