Ambassador-at-Large for Youth and Sports Development, Amb. Alioune Badara Kebe, is steadily reshaping Liberia’s sports landscape through vision, discipline, and grassroots investment.
Appointed in April 2024, Ambassador Kebe initially faced public skepticism, largely centered on his nationality. However, he has since silenced critics through tangible results and an unwavering commitment to youth development.

One of his earliest initiatives was the establishment of a Goalkeeper Academy, which later expanded into the Professional Sports Academy (PSA)—now recognized as the largest and most structured multi-sport academy in Liberia.
The PSA currently operates football programs at the U-20, U-15, and U-12 levels, while also running basketball and handball programs, making it a unique and comprehensive sporting institution in the country.

In less than two years, the Academy has nurtured dozens of young athletes—many of whom joined with little or no prior sporting background. Several have already shown remarkable improvement, underscoring the effectiveness of the Academy’s structured training system.
Beyond athletics, Ambassador Kebe has demonstrated a strong commitment to education, paying school fees for multiple players to ensure they maintain a healthy balance between academics and sports.

Competitively, the PSA is already making its mark. The team currently tops its group in the LFA Third Division League, collecting 7 points from three matches—a testament to quality coaching and sound management.
Ambassador Kebe’s leadership style is notably hands-on. He frequently attends training sessions, mentors players directly, and instills discipline, teamwork, and professionalism.

His impact extends well beyond the Academy. Across Montserrado County and other parts of Liberia, he has supported community sports initiatives and contributed to the development of basketball, taekwondo, volleyball, and the national team.
Known for his discipline, transparency, and compassion, Amb. Alioune Badara Kebe continues to uplift young Liberians—often quietly assisting those in need—proving that sports can serve as a powerful engine for youth empowerment and national development.
