Nicholas Andrews, popularly known as Nick Junior, continues to make his mark for Liberia’s national team with a series of impressive performances that underline his growing importance to the Lone Star setup.
The deadly right winger who finished as top scorer in the Liberian top flight last season has seamlessly adapted to both versions of the national team, the senior and the local Lone Star sides.
The 27-year-old winger was instrumental in Liberia’s recent international fixtures.
He won a penalty that led to the opening goal in the Lone Star’s 3-1 win over Namibia’s Brave Warriors, and later found the back of the net himself, scoring the all-important equalizer in a 1-1 draw away to Equatorial Guinea.

It can be recalled that Andrews was also on the scoresheet alongside forward Sidiki Kromah in the Local Lone Star’s 2-1 away victory over Senegal in the second leg of the 2022 CHAN qualifiers on July 30, 2022 a competition reserved for home-based players across Africa.
Now plying his trade with Maltese side Fgura FC, Andrews has proven his consistency, versatility, and attacking threat across both domestic and international stages. Two different Lone Star teams, one standout player Nicholas “Nick Junior” Andrews. So far, so good for the rising star.
