
Angeline Kieh, a standout Liberian footballer currently based in the United States, has returned to Liberia to play for Determine Girls Football Club in the upcoming WAFU Zone-A Women’s League Qualifier in Senegal.
𝗜𝗻 an exclusive interview on Monday, July 7, 2025, Determine Girls President Grace Hawa Weah confirmed that the club has secured a short-term loan agreement with Earth Angels FC for Kieh’s services during the tournament.
“Angeline is here to help us in the WAFU qualifiers. After the tournament, she will return to the United States to continue her studies,” Madam Weah explained.
Kieh, a forward at Campbellsville University, made an immediate impact in her sophomore year (2021), scoring 11 goals and providing 10 assists in just 17 games.
Her outstanding performance earned her recognition as the NCCAA Division I Midwest Player of the Year and a spot on the NCCAA Second-Team All-American list.
Throughout her collegiate career, Kieh has accumulated an impressive 48 goals and 19 assists in 46 appearances, showcasing her consistent goal-scoring prowess and playmaking ability.
Before moving to the United States, Kieh was a prolific scorer for Earth Angels FC in Liberia. During the 2018–2019 season, she netted a remarkable 47 goals in the Liberia Football Association Upper Women’s League.
Her standout season earned her the league’s Top Scorer and Most Valuable Player honors, along with several Golden Boot awards.
Her return is expected to significantly boost the morale and confidence of the Determine Girls squad as they prepare to represent Liberia on the regional stage. With her talent, experience, and proven scoring ability, fans are eager to see Kieh make an impact on the field in Senegal.
