Determine Girls FC (Liberia) and Ram Kamara FC (Sierra Leone) played to a goalless draw (0‑0) on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, in Matchday 1 of the WAFU Zone A CAF Women’s Champions League Qualifiers at Stade Abdoulaye Wade in Senegal.
However, Determine Girls FC was defeated 3-0 by USFAS FC on Monday, August 11, 2025. The absence of key players Boutou Sylla and Jessica Quachie is widely seen as a significant blow to the Liberian side’s campaign.
For the first time in recent memory, Determine Girls FC have struggled to register their name on the scoresheet after two matches, remaining goalless.
The team has played two games so far in the qualifiers, earning just one point, with two more matches still to come.
On the field, Determine Girls struggled to control midfield, maintaining limited ball possession and failing to produce accurate attempts on goal. Their performances lacked cohesion and sharpness, with very few chances created and no goals scored.
If Determine Girls FC are to maintain their position in the ongoing qualifiers, they must tighten their strategy and improve their execution on the field to achieve better results.
Their recent performances have left fans and supporters disappointed, especially since many believed this year’s squad to be the strongest Determine Girls FC has fielded in the WAFU Zone A CAF Women’s Champions League Qualifiers.
