
MONROVIA – The Liberia Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the National Identification Registry Liberia over the weekend dedicated a new National ID Enrollment Center at the Chamber’s Capitol Hill headquarters, making services more accessible to the Liberian business community.
The newly dedicated enrollment center is set to start operations this Monday, June 9, 2025. The initiative is designed to streamline the enrollment process for Chamber members and the broader business community.
The enrollment process which is mandatory for all residents and expatriates, including infants, aims to ensure compliance and improve access to services that depend on national identification.

Speaking at the official dedication on Friday, June 6, NIR Executive Director Hon. Andrew Peters thanked the LCC President Mr. O. Natty B. Davis for the provision of an enrollment center to the NIR at his office for the business community.
Mr. Peters said even though the center will serve other government line Ministries, Agencies, and the Capitol Hill community, the business community will be prioritize.
For his part, LCC President Hon. O. Natty B. Davis thanked the NIR Boss for the timely response to the business community quest for an enrollment center at the LCC at the same time reaffirmed the Chamber’s commitment to delivering solutions that address member needs adequately.

“This enrollment center is part of our mission to remove barriers for businesses and bring essential services closer to our members,” he said.
The opening of this enrollment center at the Liberia Chamber of Commerce headquarters is at the result of a recent visit to the office of the NIR Boss by some top business leaders in the country.
It can be recalled, H.E. President Joseph Nyumah Boakai, Sr. on April 14, 2025 issued Executive Order #147 which mandates every citizen and foreign resident to use the National Identification card as the only mean to access public and private services in the country.
