Liberian players Kindness Cole (midfielder) and Emmanuel Flomo will play their first Rwanda Premier League game on Thursday November 6, 2025 when Al Hilal SC meets Bugesera FC.
The two will compete again in their second league match against AS Kigali on November 10, 2025.
Al Hilal SC has received approval to take part in the 2025–26 Rwanda Premier League season.
The club will play its CAF Champions League home games at the Amahoro Stadium in Kigali.
Last season, Al Hilal and Al Merrikh got special permission to play in Mauritania’s domestic league.
This short-term solution aimed to keep their football organizations active during the ongoing conflict in Sudan, which led to the stoppage of the Sudanese Premier League in April 2023. Cole and Flomo now join other Liberian football players who have competed in Rwanda’s top league. They follow Herron Berrian and Stanley Whitfield, who also played in this competition in recent years.
