LEAD Monrovia Football Academy striker Coslyn Bardy marked her return in spectacular fashion, netting five goals in a 6-0 demolition of City Angels in the Liberia Football Association (LFA) Lower Women’s League on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at the SKD Practice Pitch.
Bardy, who had missed two matches due to national team duty, made an immediate impact.
Her absence had been deeply felt LEAD failed to win either game in her absence, managing just a draw and a loss, a stumble that ended their unbeaten run and temporarily dropped them to second place in the standings.
But with Bardy back on the pitch, it was business as usual. The clinical forward was ruthless in front of goal, dazzling with her silky footwork, explosive pace, and fearless one-on-one play.
She scored five of LEAD, while teammate Tracy Haword added the sixth to seal the emphatic win.
With this performance, Bardy has now taken her season tally to 28 goals in just 13 games a remarkable strike rate that cements her as one of the league’s most dangerous attackers.
LEAD Monrovia Football Academy has now played 15 matches this season, winning 13, drawing 1, and losing 1.
Despite their dominant form, they currently sit second on the table with 34 points, just behind Republic FC, who leads with 35 points.
With only three matches remaining in the season, the title race is heating up.
The big question now is: Who will emerge as the 2025 LFA Lower Women’s League Champion Republic FC or LEAD Monrovia Football Academy?
