In a do-or-die match at the Tusa Field Sports Pitch in Gardnersville Township on July 27, 2025, District #14 was eliminated from the 2025 Montserrado County District League after falling 4-1 to District #4.
Both teams entered the match desperate for a win and their first three points, having lost their opening games.
District #4 took control early, going into halftime with a 2-0 lead.
In the second half, District #14 pulled one back to make it 2-1, briefly sparking hope of a comeback.
However, despite being reduced to ten men after a red card, District #4 continued to press forward with determination.
Their resilience, tactical discipline, and teamwork paid off as they added two more goals to seal a 4-1 victory securing their first win and staying alive in the competition. Meanwhile, District #14 bows out of the tournament and will be hoping to return stronger in next year’s edition.
