Revolutionary salutations to President Ibrahim Traoré and the People of Burkina Faso.

The Economic Freedom Fighters of Liberia (EFFL) stands in uncompromising solidarity with Captain Ibrahim Traoré, the President and revolutionary leader of Burkina Faso, who has dared to do what many have feared; by taking back what rightfully belongs to the people of Burkina Faso.

We categorically reject the baseless accusations levied by AFRICOM, an imperialist military organization designed to suppress Africa into accepting Neo Colonial tools in the name of support. The accusation, that Captain Traoré is using the gold reserve of Burkina Faso to enrich himself is false and misleading, and this is how the west has always influenced the distortion of great African leaders throughout history. The accusation is designed not to protect democracy or transparency, but to demonize a Pan-African leader who has courageously chosen his people over imperial profit.

Captain Traoré’s move to nationalize Burkina Faso’s gold sector is not only just but it is revolutionary. In order for Africa to make progress and prevent our people from dying daily in the Red Sea, we need to take progressive steps towards industrialization and this is only possible through the protection of our resources.

The President’s decision to take his people and Country interest has become a direct threat to the parasitic grip of foreign corporations and neocolonial governments that have for too long plundered Africa’s resources; while our people live in poverty and dependency.

As Neo progressive in Africa, we strongly believe that by protecting our Natural Resources and industrializing Africa, we can help Europe and the US by reducing migration risks that they are currently faced with as a result of hardship in Africa. It’s in our collective interest, as global partners, to allow Africa to move forward with economic independence and such a move shouldn’t be considered by any western organization as a threat.

EFFL makes it clear: Africa’s gold, oil, diamonds, forests, and land belong to Africans. No foreign government, institution, or company has any moral right to dictate how African resources are used. We denounce all forms of neocolonialism, whether cloaked in diplomacy, military bases, loans, or lies. It is time that we sit around the table for Africa to benefit from her natural resources and not to be subjected to consistent exploitation.

We call on every African nation, every revolutionary, every youth, and every movement across the continent to rise in unity and declare that:

“The era of exploitation is over. Africa must own Africa.”

Let this be the moment where African states move collectively to nationalize their natural resources, reorient their economies toward self-reliance, and crush the chains of neocolonial control once and for all.

To Captain Traore, we salute your courage. Your fight is our fight. And your vision is the vision of a liberated Africa.

Viva African Sovereignty!

Viva Resource Control!

Viva the United States of Africa!

The coming revolution!
