
MONROVIA – Mr. Elton Johns, a renowned humanitarian, has firmly disassociated himself from recent information linking his name to any political parties in Liberia.
In a statement issued , Johns denounced the rumors and reaffirmed his commitment to supporting health, education, and community development initiatives in Sinoe County.
“I have not, at any point, endorsed, or supported any political party in Liberia,” Johns stated. “My mission in Liberia, and particularly in Sinoe County, is driven purely by a desire to empower individuals, strengthen healthcare access, and support grassroots development through humanitarian engagement—not politics.”
He emphasized that his work is guided by humanitarian principles, and any projects or partnerships in Liberia will be implemented in coordination with non-governmental organizations, community leaders, and relevant civil society groups—not political actors.
“Let me be clear,” he continued. “My only interest in Sinoe County is the wellbeing of its people—particularly the youth, people living with disability, and vulnerable communities.
Johns acknowledged the warmth and hospitality he has received from the people of Sinoe and expressed gratitude for the opportunity to collaborate on future initiatives.
As part of ongoing efforts, Johns has also announced preliminary steps to explore local partnerships aimed at improving access to education, health, empowerment and security respectively.
As a son of Bukonjedah District, he has over the years contributed over two million Liberian dollars to Sinoe through sports, education, healthcare and women’s empowerment.
Meanwhile, Johns is urging the public and media to rely on credible sources of information and to help stop the spread of false narratives that undermine development efforts.
