MONROVIA- In a significant demonstration of commitment to his constituents, Representative Clarence Gahr has made good on his 2023 campaign promise by stepping up to empower motorcyclists in the Borlorla to Gibi Road area. Embracing the theme “Don’t Ride for Gas But Empowerment,” Hon. Gahr presented 20 brand new TVS Star motorcycles and 20 gallons of gas to local motorcyclists, a move that underscores his pledge to transform the political landscape for those who serve as crucial transport providers in the community.

During the recent election season, Gahr firmly asserted that if elected, he would prioritize the empowerment of motorcyclists instead of merely using their services for political gain during campaign events. Traditionally, motorcyclists have been relegated to the role of background participants, often riding behind candidates and receiving little more than a gallon of fuel after long days of service. Gahr’s initiative marks a radical shift from this typical practice, setting a new standard for political engagement rooted in genuine support and empowerment.
“This initiative is not just about giving out motorcycles,” Gahr stated at the ceremony. “It’s about recognizing the hard work and dedication of our motorcyclists, who are the backbone of our local transportation system. They deserve more than just a thank you after the elections.”

Community members expressed their gratitude and support for Gahr’s efforts. “We want to thank Hon. Gahr for this milestone task in empowering our brothers who hustle daily on the road. Let other politicians who ran against him keep making noise and blaming people for their political misfortune,” said a local resident. “The people are not paying attention to your noise-making in District 5, Margibi. Empowerment and development are essential for your noise-making.”
As part of a lasting impact, community leaders recommend that Rep. Gahr’s office consider organizing traffic training sessions for motorcyclists. Such training would not only enhance their skills but would also promote safety and professionalism on the road. Additionally, providing safety gear could further support these essential workers, helping ensure their protection while they carry out their duties.
