In one of the most anticipated final group stage clashes on Sunday, August 31, 2025, Global Pharma and Freeport FC battled to a tense 1-1 draw at the Tusa Field Sports Pitch in Gardnersville Township.
Global Pharma’s defender Mohammed Kromah opened the scoring midway through the first half, but Freeport FC’s sharp striker Christopher Moore hit back quickly to level the score before halftime.
The second half produced end-to-end action with both sides creating chances, but neither could find a winner. The stalemate ensured Global Pharma finished top of their group with 7 points, while Freeport FC secured second place on 5 points.
