Former Liberian international forward Francis Grandpa Doe has signed a deal with Kelantan WTS FC, a side participating in Malaysia’s second-tier football competition, the Malaysia A1 Semi-Pro League.
Doe joined the club on a free transfer, along with a big goal-scoring record and the experience gained from playing in the past.
The club’s leaders see bringing him on board as a smart choice. As an experienced player well-known in Malaysian soccer circles, he’s expected to beef up their offense.
The goal puncher who is often referred to as the “Christmas Day striker” due to his December 25 birthdate, Doe has enjoyed significant success in Malaysia over the years.

Doe has won various Golden Boot trophies, thus highlighting his continuous goal-scoring talent among the top players in Asia.
In 2012, he shared the Golden Boot with Cameroonian striker Jean Emmanuel Effa Owona, as both of them scored 15 goals for Terengganu.
Three years down the line, in 2015, he grabbed the Golden Boot in the Malaysian Premier League putting 17 balls in the net for Negeri Sembilan.
Doe knows Malaysian football good, and is expected to make an immediate impact at Kelantan WTS FC, thanks to his experience, sharp instincts, and natural finishing ability.
