Nimba Girls FC closed their campaign in the LFA Nimba Lower Women’s League on a high note with a solid 2-0 victory over World Girls-II FC on Sunday, July 6, 2025, at the St. Mary Field in Sanniquellie, Nimba County.

After a goalless first half, winger Promise Zogbay broke the deadlock in the second half, giving Nimba Girls the lead. Striker Patience Gbusseh sealed the win with a late goal, securing all three points for her side.

With this result, Nimba Girls FC concluded the season with 28 points, finishing in third place on the league table.

Club President Melvin L. Suah expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the players, coaching staff, stakeholders, families, friends, and loyal fans for their unwavering support throughout the season.
