Kneeling Warriors

It was an afternoon of passion, pace, and perseverance as Kneeling Warriors and Earth Angels FC battled to a dramatic 2-2 draw at the Tusa Field Sports Pitch.

The match burst into life with both sides showing attacking intent from the opening whistle.

Kneeling Warriors relied heavily on the pace and creativity of their wingers, and they were duly rewarded.

Right winger Genifer Kollie opened the scoring with a confident finish after a swift attacking move that sliced through the Angels defense.

Not long after, left winger Anna Willis doubled the advantage for the Warriors. Cutting in from the flank, she delivered a composed strike that left the goalkeeper with no chance, sending the home supporters into celebration.

But Earth Angels FC refused to back down. Led by their determined striker Fatoumata Diallo, the Angels mounted a spirited comeback. Diallo pulled one back with a penalty goal, reigniting hope for her side and shifting the momentum of the match.

The equalizer came in dramatic fashion. Under pressure inside the box, a Kneeling Warriors defender Susannah  Nyantee inadvertently turned the ball into her own net, handing Earth Angels the crucial second goal they needed to level the contest.

Both teams pushed hard in the closing stages, searching for a winner, but solid defending and resilient goalkeeping ensured the points were shared at full time.

In the end, it was a game that showcased resilience, teamwork, and attacking flair a fair result as Kneeling Warriors and Earth Angels FC settled for a hard-fought 2-2 draw.
