Liberian footballers chasing international opportunities have been handed a major boost as Ken Soccer Academy (KSA) officially announces its National Football Tryouts, scheduled for March 13–14, 2026, at the SKD Practice Pitch.

The two-day event will feature Coach Kris, Head Coach of Lindenwood University (NCAA Division I, USA), marking a rare moment where Liberian talent will be evaluated directly by an elite-level American college coach on home soil.

Set to run daily from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM, the tryouts are designed to identify disciplined, talented, and game-intelligent players capable of competing at the highest collegiate level.

Beyond just selection, the program offers prospects a clear pathway toward international exposure, scholarships, and professional development.

KSA officials describe the initiative as part of the academy’s broader mission to bridge the gap between local talent and global football opportunities.

Over the years, the academy has consistently positioned itself as a launchpad for young players seeking structured development and access to international football networks.

“Opportunities like this do not come often,” a KSA representative noted. “Having an NCAA Division I head coach assess players in Liberia is a statement of belief in the quality and potential of our footballers.”

Registration opens at midnight on February 5, 2026, with limited slots available, ensuring a competitive and high-standard environment. Players are encouraged to arrive fully prepared, both physically and mentally, knowing that strong performances could open doors far beyond the local scene. As Liberian football continues its push for global relevance, the KSA National Football Tryouts stand as a defining moment one where dreams, discipline, and opportunity meet on the pitch.
