MONROVIA – The Liberian National Bar Association (LNBA), the umbrella body for all lawyers in the country, has formally congratulated Chief Justice Yamie Quiqui Gbeisay, Sr., and Associate Justice Boakai Kanneh during a ceremonial seating held at the Supreme Court of Liberia on Wednesday, August 20.

Delivering a special statement at the event, Cllr. Bornor M. Varmah, President of the LNBA, described the appointments as a “moment of renewal” for Liberia’s judiciary, noting that the elevation of the two senior jurists was not merely a replacement exercise but a reaffirmation of the nation’s constitutional integrity and democratic strength.
“Today is a moment of renewal for our judiciary. It symbolizes the enduring strength of the rule of law in Liberia,” Cllr. Varmah said, addressing a packed courtroom that included government officials, members of the legislature, the judiciary, and the legal community.
