Invisible Shooters and TS Warriors

Paynesville City — The Executive Committee of the Liberia Basketball Association (LBA) has recommended a two-year suspension for Invincible Shooters and T.S. Warriors from all LBA-sanctioned activities.

LBA President Abraham B. Samukai made the announcement during a press conference held in Paynesville City, disclosing that the decision followed a comprehensive review of a serious incident involving the two teams earlier this year at the SKD Gymnasium.

According to President Samukai, the incident resulted in major disruptions, property damage, theft, and safety risks for players, officials, and spectators.

Citing Section 17 of the LBA Constitution which states that “Any team found guilty of damaging LBA property shall be expelled from the league and held responsible for all damages caused” the Executive Committee resolved that:

“Invincible Shooters and T.S. Warriors, including their players and technical staff, are hereby suspended from participating in all LBA-sanctioned activities for a period of two (2) years.”

President Samukai stressed that the ruling demonstrates the association’s zero-tolerance policy toward misconduct, reaffirming the LBA’s commitment to discipline, order, and respect within the basketball community.

“This decision underscores our responsibility to protect the integrity of the game and ensure the safety of everyone involved,” he added.

The LBA leadership believes the move will serve as a strong deterrent against future acts of indiscipline while reinforcing accountability and respect for basketball infrastructure across Liberia.
