The Liberia Basketball Association (LBA) is proud to announce that its Secretary General, Calvin Diggs, has been selected as one of only 30 participants worldwide for the inaugural FIBA Academy Leaders Programโa prestigious initiative jointly launched by FIBA and the World Academy of Sports.
This high-level program is designed to elevate basketball administrators by enhancing their expertise in leadership, management, strategic development, and governance.
Participants will delve into critical areas such as income generation, sport innovation, and organizational excellence, through a dynamic mix of online learning and in-person sessions.
Mr. Diggs will have the opportunity to engage and collaborate with fellow basketball leaders from around the world during in-person sessions in: Doha, Qatar, Miami, USA and Geneva, Switzerland.
Mr. Diggs’s participation will help bring cutting-edge international best practices and innovative leadership strategies directly into the heart of Liberian basketball.
This experience is expected to significantly strengthen the LBA’s organizational capacity and contribute meaningfully to the future growth and professionalization of basketball in Liberia.
