Bong County football fixture

Gbarnga, Bong County — The Liberia Football Association (LFA) Bong Sub-Association has officially unveiled the fixture schedule for the 2025/2026 National 3rd Division League.

A total of eight (8) teams will battle for glory this season: Brave Warrior FC, Phebe Athletic FC, Future Bright Star FC, Gbarnga Lions FC, Vertu FC, Totota United Sports Association (TUSA FC), Gweta FC, and Rainbow FC.

The league officially kicks off on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, with an exciting curtain-raiser between Rainbow FC and Vertu FC at the David Kuyon Sports Stadium in Gbarnga. Other opening-day fixtures will see Gweta FC face TUSA FC, Brave Warrior FC go up against Gbarnga Lions FC, and Phebe Athletic FC lock horns with Future Bright Star FC.

According to the schedule, the competition will span fourteen weeks and run through March 15, 2026, covering two phases of intense football action. All matches are scheduled for the David Kuyon Sports Stadium, although the Sub-Association has indicated that dates and venues may be adjusted due to the facility’s busy calendar.

Phase One will run from November to December 2025, while Phase Two resumes in January 2026, climaxing in mid-March with a thrilling Week Fourteen showdown between Brave Warrior FC and TUSA FC.

The Bong Sub-Association expressed optimism that the new season will further strengthen grassroots football, enhance player development, and deepen community engagement in the county’s football ecosystem.
