Training focuses on modern sports medicine, injury prevention, and emergency response
The Liberia Football Association (LFA) has kicked off a four-day sports medics workshop aimed at strengthening the expertise of medical personnel across the football community.
The program is designed to build the capacity of medics who play a crucial role in safeguarding the health and wellbeing of players and officials both on and off the pitch.
Throughout the training, participants will gain hands-on knowledge in modern sports medicine practices, including injury prevention, first aid response, recovery management, and player safety protocols. The workshop also creates a platform for sharing experiences and improving coordination in handling medical emergencies during competitions.
This initiative forms part of the LFA’s broader commitment to raising the standard of football in Liberia by ensuring that players and officials benefit from professional medical support.
