
The Liberia Senior Womenโs National Team secured a 1-1 draw against host nation Mauritania in their second group stage match of the WAFU A Womenโs Tournament on Saturday, May 24, 2025.
Liberia had taken the lead in the second half through Miatta Morris, who scored shortly after missing a penalty. However, Mauritania equalized in the dying minutes of the game from a converted penalty.

Despite dominating much of the match and creating numerous chances, Liberia was unable to secure a decisive victory. Determine Girls FC midfielder Louise Brown was recognized as the Woman of the Match for her outstanding performance.
