MONROVIA – The Liberia Telecommunications Authority says it has not embarked on any schedule ACE Cable repair work as falsely reported across several media platforms.
LTA maintained that the ACE Cable is fully functional and GSM networks are experiencing no interruption.
The clarification follows a press statement purpoting to be under the signature of telecommunications authorities announcing a major internet disruption effectively tomorrow, July 17, 2025, as Liberia set to witness a major anti-government protest. Telecommunications Authorities assured the public zero internet disruption plan across the country, and encouraged the citizenry to enjoy the internet space uninterruptedly.
