Sinoe County Representative Alexander S. Noah leading the mediation effort between two chiefdoms in his district

MONROVIA – On May 16, 2025, Representative Alex S. Noah, the Representative for Sinoe Electoral District #3, conducted a mediation meeting in New Kru Town, Montserrado County.

The meeting aimed to address the long-standing land dispute between the citizens of Tarsue and Karbor Chiefdoms.

The ongoing conflict has raised concerns among the communities involved, prompting Representative Noah to facilitate discussions aimed at reaching a resolution.

The mediation meeting brought together stakeholders from both chiefdoms to engage in dialogue and seek a peaceful settlement to the dispute.

As the situation develops, Representative Noah said he remains committed to ensuring that the interests of all parties are considered and that a fair resolution is achieved for the citizens of Tarsue and Karbor Chiefdoms.

The involvement of citizens, chairpersons, and youth leaders highlights the importance of community engagement in resolving the land dispute between the Tarsue and Karbor Chiefdoms.

In separate remarks, the two chairpersons followed by other speakers spoke unanimously about peace, Unity and Coexistence.

The Montserrado-based Sanquin — Tarsue and Karbor Chiefdoms — citizens expressed their willingness in working with the Sinoe lawmaker in resolving this long-standing land dispute and also thanked him for always paying keen attention to issues that bother his people in that part of Sinoe district #3.

For his part, Rep. Noah admonished the leadership of the Montserrado-based Sanquin for reaching out to him in finding a peaceful way in resolving this grave issue that has the propensity to stall progress in the communities.

During his mediation, he urged citizens of the two chiefdoms to keep dialoguing with their people back home while a peaceful solution is being worked on.

He also tasked the leadership of the two chiefdoms to work on a plan so as to get back home in the district for a peaceful resolution of this matter.

“I’m tasking you, the leadership here in this meeting today to do a comprehensive plan that we will carry back home to our people in resolving this matter.

“If you conclude with your plan and finalized everything, get back to me so that I can provide the needed resources to go to Sanquin so as to resolve this thing once and for all,” Noah told them.
